Every lot we ship is cured in our Sambava workshops. You choose the variety, the grade and the size; we prepare the lot to match.

Vanilla planifolia (Bourbon)

The classic Madagascar vanilla, sourced mainly from planters and cooperatives across SAVA

Vanilla tahitensis

Grown in our greenhouses. Common elsewhere but rare in Madagascar, it widens your aromatic range

Tsy taitra

A rare Malagasy hybrid, grown in our greenhouses

Manitra ampotony

A rare Malagasy hybrid, grown in our greenhouses

Vanilla tahitensis grown in Madagascar cannot be sold as “Tahiti vanilla”, a name reserved for beans from French Polynesia. Looking for genuine Tahiti vanilla? One of our partners is Tahitian and can put you in touch with producers there.

Gourmet Madagascar vanilla beans

Gourmet

Whole, supple beans for pastry chefs, restaurants and premium retail. At least 1.8% vanillin

TK grade cured vanilla beans

TK

Slightly less moist than Gourmet, with a slightly lower vanillin content. Well suited to restaurants and home cooks.

Red

Drier beans, mainly used for extraction
